কুমিল্লা বিভাগীয় বন কর্মকর্তা মো. নুরুল করিম বলেন, মেছো বাঘ বন্দি না করে যে কোন একটি বনে ছেড়ে দেয়াই উত্তম ছিল। কিন্ত এটিকে বন্দি করা হয়েছে। এখন পালিয়ে যাওয়ার পর মেছো বাঘটি জনরোষে পড়ে মারাও যেতে পারে।
